I believe that lots of people can teach, but not everyone can become a real teacher. Only those who, when imparting certain knowledge or skills, do everything they can to ensure the pupil opens up as a person and who think deeply and astutely can really be described as teachers. And teachers also help in the formation of a student’s character, and in the development of qualities like self-discipline and responsibility. To ensure our children achieve their highest potential, we must make the greatest possible use of the best, forward-thinking approaches. I am convinced that mental arithmetic is one such approach.
