Highlights from this Olympiad:

Two key categories:

The Tournament covered Mental Arithmetic and Abakus Mathematics (Neuromath), allowing children to demonstrate both speed of calculation and flexible, creative thinking.

Abakus Mathematics in a magical setting:

Abakus Mathematics tasks trained logical reasoning, attention, pattern recognition and spatial thinking — all presented as “magic challenges” of the Abakus Faculty in Hogwarts, where students helped professors to improve a Magical AI.

Mental Arithmetic at high speed:

Participants showed impressive abacus and mental calculation skills. The fastest and most accurate competitors in each age group became the champions of the Tournament.

Truly international community:

The British Abakus Intellectual Tournament 2025 united children, parents and teachers from over 30 countries, proving once again that the language of numbers and logic is universal.

Special Recognition:

To everyone who did not win a prize this time – remember that every step of this journey is valuable.

Your effort, discipline and courage to take part in an international competition are already a big achievement.

We encourage you to:

  • continue practising mental arithmetic and Abakus Mathematics,
  • use the feedback and experience from this Tournament,
  • and join us again for the next Abakus event.

Your growth and improvement are only just beginning!

Discover More Abakus Challenges!

If you would like to keep training before the next Tournament, ask your Abakus teacher or local centre about:

  • extra practice sets in Mental Arithmetic,
  • Abakus Mathematics / Neuromath challenges for your level.

These materials will help your child to build confidence and be even better prepared for upcoming Olympiads.

Upcoming Olympiad:

We are already preparing the next Abakus Olympiad, planned for spring 2026.

Follow our news and social media so you don’t miss the registration opening.
