We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the XII International Abakus Online Olympiad, held on May 18-19, 2024. This year, 663 students from 44 countries participated in Mental Arithmetic and Unusual Mathematics categories.
Participants can view the Olympiad results here and download their certificates from their Olympiad accounts. The Olympiad featured two main categories: Mental Arithmetic and Unusual Mathematics, both integral parts of the Abakus Mathematics program.
Unusual Mathematics: This category provided a unique opportunity for participants to showcase their abilities. Each participant received feedback highlighting their distinctive skills, metacognitive abilities, and potential career paths.
Mental Arithmetic: This category tested participants' proficiency in mental calculations and abacus use, identifying the fastest and most accurate competitors.
To those who didn’t win a prize this time, remember that participation itself is a significant achievement. Each experience helps you grow and prepares you for future challenges. Keep practicing and come back stronger in the next Olympiad. We believe in your potential!
